Job Description
BOM Development Candidate Requirements
Duties:
Develop and maintain BOM (Engineering Bill of Materials) in Excel Spreadsheet for New Product Development Projects
Utilize Drawing Releases, Advance Orders, MRP system and Engineering Drawing Database (PDM) to update and validate BOM Structure
Communicate with engineers (e-mail, phone and in person) to validate BOM structure accuracy
Support other New Product Development administrative activities as needed
Skill Requirements:
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required (Office xxxx or newer)
Experience using the grouping, conditional formatting and formula capabilities in Excel desired
Excellent attention to detail required
Experience of product structure (assemblies, sub-assemblies, weldments, components, etc. is desirable)
Ability to communicate effectively in an office environment
Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, etc.) required
